A week before the Sinulog Grand Parade, the Sinulog sa Kabataan sa Lalawigan was held in Cebu City. Considered one of the most exciting activities during this season, the event attracts thousands of locals and guests from different parts of the globe. Of course, I didn’t dare miss it. Not only because I was available (it was the weekend) but also because I wasn’t able to see a lot of activities last year.

So, let me just share with you guys a few photos I took during the Sinulog sa Kabataan 2020 competitions at the Cebu City Sports Center. Sorry if my photos aren’t too exciting as I wasn’t able to take photos of the actual numbers because I was busy taking video clips as well.

Then, few minutes before the first team arrived at the sports center, the image of Senor Santo Nino entered the stadium.
Spectators waved their hands in devotion when the gozos was played as the vehicle slowly moved in front of the crowd.
This year’s contingents were very competitive. I noticed that a lot of them really outdid themselves to come up with truly memorable performances.
Near the end of the competition, the contingents gathered together on the stage for one last group performance.
This group excitedly posed for a photo after they were named one of this year’s winners.
