The Sinulog Festival Queen Runway Competition is one of the most exciting events during the entire month-long Sinulog season. Each year, before the yearly parade through the streets of Cebu, the lead dancers of selected dance groups battle it out during a special competition. Unlike the usual pageants, however, the Sinulog Festival Queen Competition is all about grace, talent, and dancing skills.
The lead dancers are scored based not only on their beauty but also on how graceful they are during their performance. They are also scored based on how well they carry their costumes, props, and of course, the image of Senor Santo Nino.
For Sinulog 2023, 11 candidates vied for the title. Let’s take a look at each one of the 11 lovely and talented candidates:

No. 2 – Talisay City
No. 3 – Barangay Tisa
No. 4 – Barangay Mabolo
No. 5 – Carcar City
No. 6 – Toledo City
No. 7 – Mandaue City
No. 8 – San Nicolas Proper
No. 9 – Barangay Inayawan
No. 10 – Pardo
No. 11 – Lapu-Lapu City
In the end, three ladies stood out from the rest.
Congratulations to the ladies from Toledo City, San Nicolas Proper, and Talisay City for being the top performers this year.
