Hello, everyone! I know it’s been two months since the celebration, but still, allow me to share a few snaps from the incredible Sinulog 2024 Grand Parade that took place right here in Cebu City.
This year’s grand parade, like last year’s parade, was held at the South Road Properties. And once again, as expected, the streets of the SRP were electric with energy, vibrant costumes, the awesome Sinulog beat, and infectious dance moves. It was indeed an explosion of colors, music, and faith all witnessed and shared by people from different parts of the country and the world!
So, without further ado, let me take you on a quick virtual experience of the Sinulog 2024 Grand Parade through my lens! Let’s dive into the photos and see all the amazing sights and energy from this unforgettable event.
During the Grand Parade, I positioned myself in front of Nustar Resort since I had to frequently go to the resort to upload videos of parade performances. Also, this area was close to the access road where performers had to turn to go straight to the grand stage.
Sinulog 2024 Grand Parade
I arrived past 11 am and the roads were stuffed despite the heat.
I chanced upon this Sinulog-based contingent in brown and maroon. They danced really well, I must say.
The dancers, especially the ladies, were all very graceful. Also, their costume looked amazing up close.
Most of all, the lead dancer was also outstanding.
This young lady caught my attention. She’s very pretty and graceful. In fact, she could very well be the next lead dancer.
I saw Spiderman taking photos along the parade route. The kids followed him wherever he went!
This contingent from Banilad was like a breath of fresh air. They were all smiles and their costume basically brightened the parade route.
Their lead dancer is also pretty. She danced really well, too!
They say the chain is only as strong as its weakest link, and I agree. For this group, even the dancers were amazing. No wonder they landed a spot in the finals.
Look at them giving it their all despite the heat!
This group was definitely one of my favorites this year.

Lumad Basakanon
Sinulog’s most celebrated contingent arrives.
Based on my observation, Lumad Basakanon had two lead dancers. One was for the competition and the other one was for the performance.

The Lumad Basakanon was a joy to watch. People along the route were demanding that they perform all the time.

Watching her perform, you know that she really enjoys what she’s doing. Pretty she’s one of the reasons why this group keeps winning.

Grand Finale
