Hey, everyone! Today, I finally traveled to the beautiful coastal town of Moalboal to check out Club Serena Resort. I was super excited about this trip because it was my first time in this part of Moalboal. Also, I heard that the resort is pretty exclusive. I don’t want to spoil anything but I just want to say that I had an awesome time!
Club Serena Resort
Club Serena Resort is a sight to behold. Sitting on a quiet piece of property located close to the Bas Daku public beach, the resort boasts a captivating view that will instantly make you giddy with excitement. While it is not a huge resort, Club Serena has plenty of space for that much-needed rest and relaxation.
First Impressions
From the moment I arrived, I have to say that I was impressed. The staff was warm and welcoming, and the check-in process was pretty smooth. Our accommodation, a stunning villa that could accommodate a huge group, was beautiful. It was tucked away from the common areas of the resort but is also close to the pool, the restaurant, and the beach.

Exploring Club Serena Resort
The resort itself offers plenty to keep you occupied. The pool, with its stunning ocean view, was my favorite. The beach, just a few steps away, was lovely and perfect for a nice dip or a leisurely stroll along the shore.
And if you’re lucky, you can spot some local fishermen selling their fresh catch for cheap!
A Foodie’s Paradise
Of course, no beach stay is complete without a foodie adventure. Club Serena’s restaurant did not disappoint. They offer an array of local and international dishes, all prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. If you come here looking to get stuffed, then you won’t be disappointed.
Beyond the Resort
While Club Serena itself offers an abundance of activities, Moalboal has a lot to offer for the adventurous ones. You need to try snorkeling and diving because the waters are teeming with life. If you’re thinking of exploring other spots in the South, Moalboal is also a great starting point because it is close to most major spots like the Kawasan Falls, the Alegria Canyoneering jump-off, and even Oslob where you can see the whale sharks!
Overall, my time at Club Serena was an unforgettable experience. It’s the perfect getaway for relaxation, exploration, and capturing stunning photos. From the awesome accommodations to the exceptional service and breathtaking scenery, Club Serena truly surpassed my expectations. Whether you’re a seasoned traveler or just a regular Cebuano seeking a staycation, I highly recommend adding Club Serena to your travel itinerary.
