In Photos: Tinap-anan sa Danao City

I’m not sure how a tinap-anan is prepared. However, I know for sure that it is different from the usual sinugba. Tinap-anans are usually sold by women who move around town shouting, “Tinap-anan mo diha! Init ppaaa!”. Hehe.

Fresh tinap-anan anyone?

Pili lang

Tables and chairs by the beach.

Children enjoying the summer.

A pretty chill spot to enjoy your tinap-anan.

  1. Tinap-anan is good with variety veggies including kamunggay. Jazz & Sparkle must be a new brand of drinks. In my time, we had Asia.=) It’s nice to see kids enjoying themselves.

When I was a little girl growing up in Catmon – we always stopped in Danao on our way home from the Cebu City to buy bread. Can’t remember the name of the bakery – but Lola always said, “that they were the only ones in Cebu who baked some kind of bread with the same taste and texture as the ones she liked here in Michigan.”
