SRP Updates 2008

I passed by the SRP (South Road Properties) on my way to Minglanilla today. I must say that there was nothing new (yet) except for that welcome Hollywoodish sign near the viaduct. However, I was able to snap a couple of shots of the many things to see at the SRP. Take a look!

If things go according to plan, hopefully, we just might see another mall (very similar to MOA *hint*), another IT village, and a real estate property that would give all other existing agencies good competition. Let’s just pray and keep our fingers crossed that Mayor O’s dream of giving Cebuanos better and bigger choices becomes a reality. 🙂

I mistakenly labeled this as Barangay Carbon. However, someone corrected me and said that the correct name was Barangay Ermita.

The SRP currently has three lanes plus one bicycle/motorbike lane.

The Mambaling exit is a two-way access road with two lanes each.

If you keep driving, you will soon reach the city of Talisay.

  1. This new road is fabulous. I loved using it last December when I was there. This is what will enable me to live in Talisay and still be close enough to the shopping and restaurants in Cebu City. Not to mention the ability to swiftly travel to Bo’s Coffee Club! 🙂

  2. Preserve and take more shots while the space is vast. In the coming years to you can compare this with what it will look then. It will be a treasure. Don’t forget also the migratory birds that flocked on the watered portion near the road to Big Foot. They will be gone as soon as buildings rise too. Nice pics, Ley.

  3. SRP is such a beauty! I loved passing by there. It’s good that there’s a separate lane intended for bikes & motorbikes only, it’s safer that way, we have like that in Canada too.

  4. gikan sa Fort San Pedro dapit or sa Malacanang sa Sugbo, then all the way gawas didto sa Linao, Talisay heading towards Minglanilla. Ang taga Talisay ug Minglanilla kung mangadto sa SM will take approximately an hour for travel, pero karon, dali na lang dyud . . nindot dyud ni tan awn puhon kung daghan na kalambuan . .

  5. The SRP welcome sign amazes me! Could you take a shot when it’s night time? I mean, is it lit on moonshine? I will soon pass that road 2 days from now on my way to Toledo. I will be going to Mambukal in Bacolod. We will be passing SRP i think.

  6. i like your idea Billy, hopefully Ley will do it.
we passed by there last Jan. to Simala.
thanks for your time going around Ley, taking photo’s
to share for your viewers, you’re the number ONE…
