Hello, friends. I am back with another batch of Cebu Updates (Cebu Updates 34) that you might find interesting. Anyway, without further delay, let’s take a look at these updates!

Cebu Updates 34

Say goodbye to the BDO building in Fuente Osmena. Another BDO building will rise in the exact same spot.

The Baseline Residences project now looks massive. It’s probably one of the tallest high-rise clusters in Cebu City right now.

Another mall rises in Lapu-Lapu City. This Gaisano mall is opening soon across Pueblo Verde in Mepz II.

The very first G-Mall of Cebu (and in the Visayas) is nearing completion. The structure took the place of White Gold Club across the Queen City Memorial Gardens.

This boat at the SRP is one of the many remaining reminders of the effects of Typhoon Odette last year.

The tall Indian Trees at the center island of Osmena Boulevard have been removed. This is done to make way for the dedicated lanes for the Cebu Bus Rapid Transit (BRT).

The Malacanan sa Sugbo, previously Aduana (Customs building), will soon become a national museum.

The SRP will soon have a rotunda. This is to help ease congestion in the area fronting the cube at SM Seaside City Cebu.

This commercial strip in Banawa is now finally getting more activities. Construction was delayed due to the typhoon.

Another iconic project is now taking shape at the SRP. The South Coast City by  SM and  Ayala Land will soon become the entertainment center of Cebu.

Interior roads are now in place within the property.

Another project in downtown Cebu City is rising fast. The Patria de Cebu has finally risen above ground.

A new Metro Gaisano Supermarket is now open at the Paseo Arcenas development in Banawa.

The new FilInvest Cyberzone Cebu tower in Lahug is nearing completion.

The very first Holiday Inn hotel and Hop Inn Hotel in Cebu are now open at the Cebu Business Park.

CityMall Bacalso along N. Bacalso Avenue is now open. The new mall sits in between Elizabeth Mall (E-Mall) and the Cebu South Bus Terminal.
