On July 31, 2021, just in time for the launching and inauguration of the newest gateway to Luzon from Cebu, I was finally able to revisit the lovely San Remigio Beach Club in San Remigio, Cebu.
As part of the media team from the city, I was asked to stay overnight since the event took place in the late afternoon and it was a long way to go from the city of Bogo. In short, the group from Cebu City was taken to the quiet and lovely San Remigio Beach Club so that we could be fully rested for our travel back to the city the next day.
And of course, since I don’t normally get to visit this side of the island, I made sure to explore the resort just a couple of hours just before we all headed home. Take a look!
As expected the San Remigio Beach Club in Barangay Tambongon, San Remigio, Cebu is looking pretty and peaceful. Definitely two of the main reasons why I love it here!
The simple yet truly warm guest hut welcomes visitors to the resort.
As always, the members of the staff were all so courteous and friendly. Good job, guys!
We were immediately taken to our room – a spacious 4-beach suite that has its own lounge area, a cooking area, and even two sets of baths. Nice!
The welcome drink was so delicious!
Cafe Gloria is the resort’s main restaurant. This is where breakfast is served every morning.
Just outside the restaurant, you’ll find this quiet little nook where you can read a book or finish a delicious afternoon snacks.
This is what Cafe Gloria looks like. It’s very spacious and it can accommodate hundreds of people especially when there are functions or gatherings.
Now, let me show you some of the other rooms located just behind the restaurant.
This row of rooms is quiet and lovely. Definitely, a nice spot to consider if you want nothing but relaxation and peace.
This different row of rooms is directly facing the ocean. So if you want to wake up with an amazing view, this is the spot for you.
The Bahia Vista right next to Cafe Gloria is a great spot for an exciting outdoor event or gathering.
It is pretty spacious and is super breezy. It has its own mini stage and its own mini bar.
In addition, you can stay here in the shade if you prefer a quiet afternoon by the beach.
And, of course, there is the beach. There are plenty of benches that you can use even if you decide to swim the whole day.
There are also these lovely huts where you can stay while enjoying your time in the water.
And they have this man-made sea pool where it’s safer for kids to enjoy the beach in a ‘controlled’ environment.
The resort has several new features to keep guests coming back for more. They recently added a zipline facility as part of their ‘teambuilding’ packages. The zipline tower also doubles as a romantic dinner spot, too!
One of the resort’s most popular spots, of course, is the gigantic swimming pool area.
The pool area has two slides, a jacuzzi, and a giant swimming pool.
The area also has several lounge chairs, picnic tables, and more.
One of my favorite parts of the whole resort, however, is this beautiful white garden right next to the main entrance.
The garden looks really lovely and serene. It’s perfect for selfies and groufies, too!
