Last Saturday, I traveled to the town of Liloan to cover an event. I was invited my a distant cousin who works as a marketing officer for a real estate company. They were launching a new horizontal development and she wanted me to see the whole place for myself. I was thinking of traveling somewhere so I wasn’t quite sure if I wanted to go.
The launching event was for DurosLand’s Bay-Ang Ridge, an economic housing development in Santa Cruz, Liloan. Bay-Ang Ridge is one of around 4 condominium and house-and-lot projects within the Northside Beacon – a masterplanned township project of DurosLand. My cousin said that I might get a chance to see the whole estate if I covered the event.
Long story short, I DID cover the event and I also ended up touring the whole 250-hectare estate. 🙂
The Liloan Golf and Leisure Estate is the main amenity of the Northside Beacon township project. To be able to use the facility, there’s only one thing you need to do: buy a property at DurosLand.
The 65-hectare golf course is pretty unique. It was designed by the chairman of DurosLand Properties himself Mr. Rafaelito Barino.
If, like me, you are only exposed to the busy and chaotic Liloan along the North National Road, you will be surprised to learn that such beautiful expanse of land does exist just a few minutes away from the highway.
The place is so green and so wonderfully-maintained. So the moment we arrived, we couldn’t help but run around and just enjoy the wonderful view.
Our simple joys were short-lived, however, as we were soon informed by a marshall that a tournament was taken place and for our safety, we had to get off the field. Haha.
So, anyway, enjoy these photos of the beautiful Liloan Golf and Leisure Estate. We’ll go sit in the shade now. Haha.
EXTRA:
The private swimming pool of the Barino family. So gorgeous!
