Hello, everyone! After so many months, I am finally back with updates! (The last time was back in September last year.) So, I feel that this update has to be really big and long to make up for all the things we missed. And so that’s exactly what I am going to do. For this update, I am going to feature more than 25 projects and developments in and around Cebu City that I feel you’d all find interesting. Ready?
The Central Bloc Ayala Mall at the Cebu IT Park is now nearing completion. According to reports, it will be open before the year ends.
The Latitude Corporate Center (located right next to the Pag-Ibig Tower is set to become one of the Cebu Business Park’s tallest buildings.
Montage along Archbishop Reyes Avenue is poised to become one of the most iconic towers in Cebu.
The BPI Corporate Center right at the mouth of the Cebu Business Park is a great addition to the already dense skyline of uptown Cebu.
Sunvida Tower across SM City Cebu is now one of the tallest buildings in the area.
Benedicto College now has a new campus behind Robinsons Galleria Cebu.
The Sugbu Grounds at the South Road Properties has now been fenced off.
The three-lane roads of SRP will soon have one more lane.
Grand Tower Cebu is rising fast behind SM City Cebu.
The White Gold Club complex has been fenced off for the mall’s demolition. A new mall will soon take its place.
Two more lanes will be added to a portion of the South National Road along Dumanjug.
The Magellan’s Park behind the Cebu City Hall has been cleared to make way for a multi-storey building.
Restoration work will soon be completed at the Cebu Chinese Heritage Museum (previously Gotiaoco Building).
More widening work can be seen along Sergio Osmena Jr. Boulevard.
The U-Turn/Access Road under the first Mactan Bridge has been completed and is now open to the public.
Arthaland’s Cebu Exchange Tower is rising very fast.
More restaurants have started to operate at the Il Corso Mall at the South Road Properties.
SRP Lantaw’s space has been vacated. The restaurant has transferred to the Talisay a few hundred meters away.
Toyota’s Cebu City office has finally been completed.
The Alcove at the Cebu Business Park is now one of the tallest structures in the area.
A multi-story building is rising along Salinas Drive (next to AA’s BBQ.)
JEG Tower (One Acacia) is rising fast next to the Golden Prince Hotel expansion.
Cityscape Grand Tower along Archbishop Reyes is also steadily rising.
The lot which will soon be occupied by The Suites at Gorordo has been cleared and fenced off.
Clearing work for Metro Ayala is nearing completion.
‘Mushroom trees’ can now be seen inside the Cebu Ocean Park complex.
