Hello, everyone! I’m finally back with fresh updates. Sorry it took me quite a while to post an update (if anybody is actually waiting. hehe) After a full year of being extra busy with work, I finally have enough time to update my blogs (this, TheCebuano.com, and Leylander.net) more often! Crossing my fingers that things will go well and my DSLR (which is now showing signs of old age) will continue to cooperate.
Anyway, here they are! Check out the latest developments in around Cebu City with the 22nd edition of Cebu Updates.
After so many years, the GT Times Square tower right next to Chong Hua Hospital in Fuente Osmeña is finally nearing completion.
The Cebu City Medical Center is done with foundation work. Now, vertical development can be seen from the street level.

Failed to catch the name of this tiny mid-rise in Escario Street. This one sits a couple of paces away from the old SSS building.
The Azalea Place by Robinsons Residences in Lahug (across UP Cebu) has finally been completed.
Didnt catch the name of this development. But this one is sitting right next to The Walk in Cebu IT Park.
The FilInvest Cyberzone in Cebu IT Park is nearing completion. The ground floor, however, which is now being occupied by several food establishments, was opened months ago.
Remember that plot of green smack dab in the middle of the Cebu IT Park? A lifestyle/entertainment strip is now being constructed on that space.
And Cebu IT Park’s Central Bloc mall is now rising right on schedule.
Another strip mall called Mahogany Place is opening soon in Pope John Paul Avenue (San Jose dela Montaña.)
On the other side of the road, a massive development is also rising. The first structure, a chapel, now stands at the corner of the 23 Minore Park.
Landers Superstore will also be opening very soon!
This midrise building across Cebu City Science High School in Labangon is a welcome surprise.
And the renovation/rehabilitation of downtown Cebu’s Gotiaoco Building is now in full swing.
