With the development of the South Road Properties – Cebu’s future ‘it’ address – in full swing, there is no doubt that Cebu is also changing at a very rapid rate. All over the metro, high-rises are being erected, old buildings are being demolished to make way for new ones, and roads are being widened to accommodate more traffic.
Pretty soon, we’ll be seeing Cebu’s tallest building (Horizons 101) add beauty to the ever-changing skyline of the metropolis. The Cebuanos will also soon see the opening of Ayala’s second phase, the opening of SM Seaside City (dubbed the 4th biggest mall in the world,) the construction of a third bridge, and the completion of the revitalization of the whole downtown Cebu. With the BRT project hopefully being put in place in two years, Cebu will have its own mass transport not seen elsewhere in the country. And with the completion of the second phase of the Mactan-Cebu International Airport, Cebu will soon accommodate more visitors, investors, and other curious onlookers that we could all ever hope for.
I therefore think that it is important to document this significant period in Cebu’s history. Years from now, when things are in place and the Cebuanos are enjoying the fruits of hardwork, community, and passion, we shall look back and see how every single Cebuano has helped change Cebu’s Landscape.

What do you think of the recent developments in Cebu? Let us know!
Pagka-anindot na gyod sa Sugbo. Nagpusot-pusot ang mga kalambu-an nga dako ug tag-as pa gyod – matagbaw gyod tag tan-aw; dagko nga edipisyo sama sa SM ug taas nga edipisyo sama sa umaabot nga Horizon tower. Payter!
awesome!
NICE!
I think the mountain seen at the distance serving as a backdrop to the first photo of the Chapel is the Monterrazas subdivision in Guadalupe. Even when you take the photo perpendicular to the chapel itself with your back against the sea, you wont still be able to see the mountain of Pardo unless you adjust ur camera for a wide-angle shot. Just for the knowledge of everyone.:-)
thanks for the correction
