Well, I think it was just a tiny booklet. But it’s still awesome! Hehehehe.
Early last month, a member of the faculty of the University of San Carlos College of Engineering emailed me regarding one of my photos of the Marcelo Fernan Bridge. He said that he wanted to use my photo on a booklet for an important Engineering conference which the school will host/organize.
It turned out that that event was the 2008 International Engineering Research Conference. The 3-day conference was held at the University of San Carlos. I learned that the conference was very well-attended and many speakers from different parts of the world graced the event.
Anyways, here’s the final booklet cover design with my photo of the Marcelo Fernan Bridge. It looks pretty neat. Hehehe. Very nice job, Prof!

In his email, the Engineering professor mentioned that he couldn’t pay for my photo. He promised, though, that he would most definitely give credit where credit is due. I readily told him that it was all right and that he could use the photo any time.
And true enough, he kept his promise. Hehehe.

I heard that the event was a huge success!
So, congrats to all of you, guys! Well done! 🙂

Wow! Congratulations, Ley! It’s a great shot so no wonder it’s on a cover. I so know how you feel cos one of my pics was also featured in a travel magazine last Dec (not on a cover though). So keep on shooting those fine pictures! Kuwang na lang ka ug award for your passion about Cebu and for always being the source of inspiration to all of us who are so far away from our beautiful island. *Lots of hugs*
