CEB - Penshoppe Sinulog 2020

Penshoppe and Its Yearly Sinulog Tradition in Cebu

I know I’ve said this before, but I just want to point out that as a Cebuano, I truly appreciate how Penshoppe helps hype up the Sinulog celebrations in Cebu each year. I mean, of course, Sinulog would still be successful even if Penshoppe is not in the picture. But to true blue Cebuanos, this little tribute actually means a huge deal.

So, as always, despite being extremely difficult to shoot I always make it a point to thank Penshoppe in my own little way each year. And that’s by taking photos of their wonderful yearly project.

So, without further ado, here are some photos of their Sinulog display this year. It’s a bit late but I hope you still enjoy! You all know how fast-moving traffic around the circle can get. So, these shots were pretty scary to take. 🙂

For 2020, Penshoppe decided to build a more ‘vertical’ structure and made sure that the ‘chapel was as open and ‘airy’ as possible.

Three different colors are highlighted in this year’s design – red, brown, and gold.

The glass casing which holds the image of Senor Santo Nino in place stands right in the center of the structure.

The floral arrangements which help make the structure even more beautiful are replaced regularly so the flowers always look fresh and alive.

I love that although the brand name is visible, the size doesn’t overpower the whole display.
