There is a new five-star resort in Mactan, Cebu and it is looking pretty amazing. The name of the resort is Dusit Thani Mactan Cebu Resort. Owned by Robinsons Land Corporation and managed by Dusit Thani Hotels & Resorts, the luxury resort is situated right inside the Amisa Private Residences complex in Punta Engano.

As soon as you enter the complex, you will see this unique rock formation ‘fountain’ sitting in the middle of a roundabout and fronting the resort’s main entrance.
Dusit Thani Mactan’s elongated architecture, which looks quite simple at first glance, actually makes use of the property’s vast seafront. As such, guests are treated to amazing ocean views anywhere they are in the resort.
The Dusit Thani logo, in deep gold, is plastered on the right side of the resort’s main entrance. The font face has a distinct Thai touch, owing to the fact that the resort is managed by a company based in Thailand.
The resort’s gorgeous main entrance features lush greens and a massive covered drop-off area.
Stepping into the main lobby of the luxury resort, you will immediately notice the intricate details and designs which add to the resort’s premier vibe.
Also, you will immediately be drawn to the wonderful view of the ocean outside the bar and lounge.
The resort’s bar and lounge area offer a wonderful view of the beachfront and the ocean outside.
Check out this gorgeous view of the deck and the beach just below the resort bar and lounge.
A beautiful promenade lined with coconut trees and greens greets guests who descend to the beach from the lounge area.
Here is a view of the sea deck which is just perfect for late-afternoon coffee and beer sessions.
Several decks line the long stretch so you and your friends can have an entire deck to yourselves. If the resort is not too crowded, that is.
Heading back to the main lobby, you will catch a glimpse of the resort’s sea-view rooms which all have a private balcony.
One of the resort’s focal points is the pool area. It is very well-planned and well-maintained. In this photo, you will see a water play area for young children and for the young at heart.
The resort’s pool area also has a pretty nice children’s pool which, I believe, is safe enough for kids to swim in even with minimal adult supervision.
Right next to the resort’s main pool area are the resort’s restaurant, bar, gym, and other amenities for guests and visitors.
Finally, check out Dusit Thani Mactan Cebu Resort’s massive infinity swimming pool. If I am not mistaken, this has got to be the biggest swimming pool in Cebu.
The massive infinity pool is (I think) at least one-fourth of the entire resort’s shoreline. It is that huge!
