La Vie in the Sky: A Chill (and Quick) Getaway

La Vie Parisienne is a popular modern French restaurant and winery in Barangay Lahug, Cebu City. Known for its gaudy and interesting interiors and visually-stunning lighted trees, the restaurant is considered one of the most popular hang-outs in the city.

Recently, La Vie opened another property in the highlands of Cebu. Aptly called La Vie in the Sky, the property offers the same features but with a little bit of twist. Instead of colorful lighted trees and a view of the super-hectic rush hour traffic, what you will get is a bird’s eye view of Metro Cebu, the Mactan Channel, and the beautiful Cebu City skyline.

I was able to visit La Vie in the Sky recently and I must say that I was more than pleased with what I saw. Check out my photos of La Vie in the Sky — Cebu’s newest (and coolest) destination for quick mid-week getaways!

La Vie in the Sky is located right next to Tops Lookout, which is more popularly known simply as Tops. The building is only around 4 storeys high but it has numerous rooms for various functions.

The main room as soon as you enter is a relaxing and luxurious lounge filled with comfortable seats, art pieces, and designs.

Another room serves as a wine storage. The room also has a long table where meetings and wine tastings can be held.

La Vie in the Sky serves delectable breads, pastries, and sweets you will surely enjoy. I think I finished about 6 of those. 🙂

I’m honestly not sure what this is. But someone told me that this could possibly be liver.

The best part about the whole structure are the open terraces. The view is just stunning.

Each floor has a terrace so you have plenty of space to snap that wonderful shot.

The bustling Metro Cebu. Sorry I had to shoot this with a mobile phone.

And, of course, people come here because it’s just ‘Instagram-worthy.’ Take a look at some of the sample shots you too can take at La Vie in the Sky.
