Are You Ready For Sinulog 2010?

I visited the Basilica Minore del Santo Niño the other day to see if the place is ready for Cebu’s biggest event – the Sinulog Sa Sugbu. As expected, everything was in place for the huge daily attendance especially when the 9-day novena starts on the 8th. With years of experience, I’m sure the management now knows how to deal with millions of devotees who wish to pay homage to the little King.

Take a look at how the church is preparing for His big feast.

The banderitas are up!

More banderitas!

The huge Entrance and Exit signs were recently installed.

The huge Exit sign.

More Exit signs.

The new garden is now well-fenced.

I also noticed that the red pavers were freshly cleaned and scrubbed and that more security personnel roamed the church grounds.
