The Sinulog Grand Parade 2025 is back to the parade’s usual route, and I kinda both liked and disliked the idea. You see, I enjoyed the SRP route because the roads were wider and the dancers were given more space to do their thing. Unfortunately, the route can be pretty hot, especially around lunchtime, which is not good since a lot of spectators are young kids.
The Osmena Boulevard route, on the other hand, is pretty cramped for big contingents. The good thing, however, is that the route has plenty of shade and spectators are very close to establishments for food, bathroom runs, and more.

Anyway, here are my photos from the 2025 Sinulog Grand Parade. I hope you enjoy looking at each one as much as I enjoyed taking them.
Leading the pack, of course, is Cebu’s very own Lumad Basakanon. They are just so visually stunning!

Lumad Basakanon’s Festival Queen is probably the most photographed person during the entire Sinulog season in Cebu each year. With her stand-out charm, it’s hard to miss her!
Original Parade Route
A look at the jam-packed Osmena Boulevard, a little after lunch. Despite the heat, Cebuanos of all ages lined the street to support and show appreciation to the contingents.
As expected, they are constantly on the lookout for any familiar face.
The crowd went crazy for the cast of Batang Quiapo, headlined by Coco Martin.
Grandstand on Sinulog Day
Here’s a view of the main grandstand at around 3 in the afternoon. It’s packed with people who want to check out the best contingents (usually performing in the late afternoon.)

Sinulog Grand Parade 2025 Grand Finale
Near the end of the program, a grand finale was headlined by Governor Gwen Garcia, Mayor Alvin Garcia, and other public officials.
The festivities ended with a grand fireworks display, which illuminated the Cebu sky for at least 30 minutes.
