Cebu was already a major business district even before the war. (In fact, it already was even before Magellan came.) So, there’s no doubt that the Queen started out very early. =)

Wow, just like been there in the 1900’s! That is Metropolitan Cathedral; across it, is Patria de Cebu; beside PdC, is Legaspi Street; where I was born & raised. Awesome pics!

the picture of jones ave. circa 1920 shows the bradford protestant church. so directly across that is the current location of harrisson park. the picture was taken probably near c.a.p.

Akong pangagpas gikuha kini ibabaw sa building (ang Parian church kaha?)nga nahimutangan karon sa Fire Station. Ang triangular island mao karon ang Heritage of Cebu. Sikatuna St ang sa tuong bahin ug Mabini St ang sa wala. Makita usab ang dalan molahos sa Espana St. ug ang eskina sa Zulueta St.diin anaa ang balay sa gidungog nga Ungo sa Parian kaniadto.
