Pacific Cebu Resort: A Hidden Gem in Mactan

Hello, my dear friends! I recently had a chance to visit the Pacific Cebu Resort in Mactan and I must say, I liked what I saw. So, even if you didn’t ask for this, I’m going to share with you a few photographs from my visit. Just so you understand why many people keep coming back to this hidden gem.

Just to be clear, I didn’t know about Pacific Cebu Resort until a few years ago. I mean, when it comes to popular resorts in Mactan, the first names that come to mind are Plantation Bay, Maribago Bluewater, Karancho Beach, Vano Beach, Shangri-la Mactan, and Jpark Island Resort. See? You never hear anyone say Pacific Cebu Resort!

So, I was quite excited when I learned that there was an entirely different resort in Mactan that I still hadn’t heard about. And aside from it being around for years now, apparently, it is also a well-loved property. And you know what the best part is? I was actually going to visit it!

First Time at Pacific Cebu Resort

The first thing that hit me as soon as I arrived at Pacific Cebu Resort was the beach. Soft, white sand against your toes, crystal clear water begging you to jump in – it was a lovely sight. Plus, the resort stretches along a good chunk of the coastline. (That’s quite hard to find in Mactan.) So finding a spot to soak up the sun was a breeze.

Poolside Paradise

Speaking of jumping in, I must say that the pool situation was fantastic. There were actually three pools – one perfect for lounging and sipping on a tropical drink, and another deeper one for those who wanted to do some laps. Plus points for having a swim-up bar – because who doesn’t love a piña colada delivered straight to your pool float?

Pool Number 1 sits right next to the beach. It is perfect for virtually anyone who enjoys a good swim.

Pool Number 2 has an amazing view of the ocean. It is perfect for those who want to chill and just relax in the sun.

Pool Number 3 is quite huge. So it is perfect for good swimmers and those who want to go diving.

Stunning Views

The view from the pools, the restaurant, or even the rooms are amazing. Guests get an unhindered view of the surrounding islands. There is even a long jetty that stretches out to sea. This one was my favorite because it allowed me to have a good look at the sea and the resort.

Activities Aplenty at Pacific Cebu Resort

Now, if relaxing isn’t your top priority and you want a little adventure, the resort is perfect for you. There’s a diving center for exploring the underwater world, a tennis court for some friendly competition, and even a basketball court if you’re feeling sporty. There’s even a spot where kids can play!
