Why do you need Sinulog 2023 Activity Route Maps, you ask? Well, the grandest of all Philippine festivals is finally upon us, that’s why! And as Cebuanos, what better way to celebrate this beautiful tradition than by actually joining and being part of the many colorful and meaningful events during this season!
To help you, I’ve gathered the most useful route maps that you’ll ever need this Sinulog season. This will save you a great deal of money, time, and energy to know where to go, when to do it, and how to do it during the busiest season of the year here in Cebu. On January 5th, the Sinulog season in Cebu will officially begin with the Walk with Jesus dawn procession. The short procession will start at Fuente Osmena and will end at the Basilica.
On January 6th, the Walk with Mary Penitential Procession will follow the same route. It will begin at 3:30 in the morning.
On January 13th, the Traslacion will take the image of the Nino to the city of Mandaue. The procession will start at the Basilica and end at the National Shrine of St. Joseph in Mandaue City.
On January 14, after the fluvial parade, the short parade which would take the image back to the Basilica will be less than a kilometer long.
And finally, on the afternoon of January 14th, one day before the Sinulog Grand Parade, the Solemn Foot Procession will be held. The 5.7-kilometer-long parade will start and end at the Basilica and will pass through major thoroughfares like Osmena Boulevard, Mango Avenue, and MJ. Cuenco Avenue
