The threats of rain didn’t stop the people from leaving their homes and joining the annual Foot Procession of the Santo Niño de Cebu last Saturday, January 17, 2009. Instead, a record number of devotees joined the parade to show the Holy Child their love and devotion.
Here are some of the photos that I took during the annual Foot Procession.

Each year, devotees make it a point to dress up their Niños with new clothes and accessories on the day of his Fiesta. This Niño is wearing a red shirt and is carrying a small basket.

made me remember my college days. bahala na og magka gutay-gutay basta maka procession lang. i have a Nino here too, unya isayaw jud nako basta fiesta niya. but this year, akong bana ang ni ki-ay ki-ay kay di man ko pwede. comedy kaayo tan-awon pero sige na lang…all for the love of Sto. Nino
