Hello, everyone! Welcome to Cebu Updates 37. Cebu Updates is a blog series that features the latest in Cebu City and other parts of Metro Cebu. Cebu Updates is probably the longest-running blog series in Cebu (or the Philippines?) with the first ‘issue’ released in 2007. Now, 17 years later, we are at our 37th release. How awesome!

Cebu City Updates
The Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center, a public hospital in the heart of Cebu City, now has a brand new multi-story building.
The Vertex building along Archbishop Reyes Avenue (in between BIR and Waterfront Lahug) has been topped off!
The Flats, a co-living facility at the Cebu IT Park is now nearing completion.
In case you missed it, the ‘skywalks’ along Jones Avenue are now gone to make way for the BRT Project.
The 3rd and 4th FIlinvest Cyerbzone towers at the Cebu IT Park will be operational very soon!
The luxury condominium project LUCIMA by Arthaland at the Cebu Business Park has been topped off.
The Suarez Residences along Gorordo Avenue (beside the old SSS building) is rising fast!
The ARC Towers Cebu building along V. Rama Avenue is nearing completion.
The bus stations for the BRT project are now taking shape.
In Banawa, the Maple Leaf Plaza is almost complete. The complex with have a hotel, offices, and commercial spaces.
At the city’s waterfront, new port facilities are being constructed.
In downtown Cebu City, the reimagined Patria de Cebu is rising fast.
Behind SM City Cebu, the Grand Tower Cebu building is almost done.
SM City Cebu, on the other hand, has started its mall expansion project.
Finally, the 128 Nivel Hills development is now standing tall.
Metro Cebu Updates
In Mandaue City, the massive ASTRA Center development has totally changed the face of AS Fortuna Street.
JCentre Mall has been transformed into the new SM City JMall at the other end of the street.
And lastly, in Lapu-Lapu City, the Abaca Resort redevelopment is now underway.
