Visiting the Argao Nature Park

After a hearty snack break at Chitang’s Torta, we decided to make another stop at Argao Nature Park. Argao Nature Park is a small park right on the edge of a rice field. To get to this park, you simply have to follow a nice road in the middle of gorgeous-looking rice paddies. It’s a very short drive. So you don’t have to worry about getting lost or anything like that.

The park is quite small but it has interesting features fit not just for locals but also for out-of-towners. It has a big pond for a little boating, a canopy walk, facilities for wall-climbing and zip-lining, a massage hut for the weary, board game areas for those needing intellectual stimulation, a small restaurant, clean restrooms, and a mini zoo.

So, anyways, here are the photos. Check out the park with your family and friends, too!

Argao Nature Park!

Main Gate

Five pesos only. Not bad!

The welcome hut. This is also where you pay if you want to try any of their activities.

Nice looking trees. So old and so tall.

Clean restrooms

A cute rabbit

I’m not sure what this is. But I think it is a venue for events.

A monkey with a necklace. Haha.

A very fierce-looking bird

Wow. A really huge tree right in the middle of the park.

Walkway to the bridge in the middle of the pond

The canopy walk. Looking nice

A giant image of the Virgin Mary in the middle of the pond.

From another angle

Walkway to the bridge

One of the many picnic huts in the area.

I wonder how deep the water is. Well, it’s always better to have a life jacket on. Hehe.

Outside the park is a small children’s playground.

Perfect for family bonding and stuff.

Or for dates. 🙂
