Tubo

A few weeks ago, we met an Austrian national who currently lives in Cebu City. We asked him if he liked Cebu and he said that Cebu is one of the best places in the world. According to him, Cebu is the only place in the world where you can scuba dive in the morning, go mountain trekking in the afternoon, and dine at a Japanese restaurant in the evening just before going clubbing or watching a 3D movie. He loves Cebu so much that he now spends most of his time here. According to him, he first came to Cebu to study. Now, he has a small business and he hopes that it would do well so that he’d be able to stay here longer.

During the course of our conversation, he managed to blurt out a few Cebuano lines. We were taken aback because we really thought that he couldn’t understand and speak Cebuano. Well, it turns out that he’s a fluent Cebuano speaker. And we were talking to him in English the whole time. Hahaha.

Anyway, he is also into traveling. And according to him, during one of his travels, he realized that one of the most abundant natural products in Cebu is sugarcane. With this in mind, he decided to give the cane juice business a try. The name of his business is Tubo Cane Juice (FB Page: Tubo Cane Juice).  Tubo Cane Juice now has two booths in Cebu (Ayala and Gaisano Country Mall)

  1. Good on him, goodluck to his business. Tubo juice is good for me kay dili nko maka pang-us. Dina diay na sya pwede ibaligya Ley, kay fluent naman diay sa Cebuano.

  2. Hi Ley, Techy na gyud ang pinoy noh? sauna pang-us ra gyud that made it very natural… now natural pa din pero by the use of a tubo machine extractor…. Special request ley, bisan pede nimu feature katong Zip Line ug Mountain Climbing on top of the Building diha man kkuno to sa CEBU… watched it in Rated K last Sunday, April 17… but it think a more detailed one on from you… how much does it cost to enjoy those… Thanks

    1. nakatry ko sa wall climbing mam ana. pero mahal man gud ang zipline. mga 500 tingali na. plus entrance fee pa sa deck mga 200 man tingali. hehehe. later na lang kung naa ko extra. nyehehe.

  3. Ley, that is something I need to try when I go home for a vacation. Like Myrna said, maayo na ni dili na mapang-us ato teeth just to taste the sugar cane juice.

  4. Great idea so I hope his business will molambo. Pang-us ug tubo man tingali naka palig-on sa akong ngipon, after all these years-LOL. Sa elem mao ra may makaya sa among balon nga kwarta is snack on tubo during recess. I like the kind with the “reddish” outside kay mas tam-is but I am sure they have now different type that is just as sweet.

Lawom kaayo no? Abir kon matugkad ba ni sa langyaw..he..he.

  6. i like to have full information to set up this business in australia melbourne ====thankyou—-ahmed
