Cebu Updates 19

Here is another edition of Cebu Updates. Cebu Updates is a MyCebuPhotoBlog series that features the latest and the hottest developments in and around Cebu City. In this update, we focus on the developments at the South Road Properties, the entry of another huge mall in Cebu, and random changes that happening in our beloved Cebu. Let’s take a look!

The 25-storey Nature’s Suite Business Hotel in Mandaue City is nearing completion.

The hotel is expected to add at least 1000 rooms to Cebu’s already booming hotel industry.

Robinsons Galleria Cebu, located at the very end of General Maxilom Avenue will be opening this October 21st!

Robinsons Galleria Cebu will be Robinsons’ biggest Galleria Mall outside the capital.

Located at the front part of the mall is a strip which will most likely house restaurants and cafes.

The mall is located just several hundred feet from the port of Cebu.

Although the BPO and highrise component of the development still has a long way to go, the mall area is almost ready to welcome its first guests.

The river rehabilitation and esplanade project in Barangay Tinago is looking pretty nice.

The center ‘island’ right next to SM Seaside City at the SRP is now currently being removed.

This is probably due to the planned MyBus transport system which will obviously require more space.

The Shrine of the Holy Eucharist in Lindogon (Simala) in Sibonga continues to grow and expand.

The main chapel is now connected by concrete walkways to four different towers located in each corner of the property.

At the very center of the development is what appears to be an artificial lake project.

Another strip mall is rising along A.S. Fortuna Street in Mandaue City. This one – called the Space – will have a BPO building and will house several fastfood brands.

The Azalea condo tower in Lahug is also nearing completion.

Boljoon’s Ili rock now looks like this.

And it took the town quite a long time to recover from the wrath of typhoon Pablo in 2012. The town’s sea-side plaza is still being repaired.

Cita di Mare’s ampitheater which is facing the Mactan Channel is now in place.

FilInvest’s Sanremo Oasis at the SRP is also nearing completion.

SM Seaside City at the SRP will be opening before year-end.

Are you excited?

    1. Just wait. srp flood issue will get fixed. it won’t happen overnight. only kids think that way. it entails careful planning. these plans will get reviewed many times before they get implemented.
