I visited the Basilica Minore del Santo Niño the other day to see if the place is ready for Cebu’s biggest event – the Sinulog Sa Sugbu. As expected, everything was in place for the huge daily attendance especially when the 9-day novena starts on the 8th. With years of experience, I’m sure the management now knows how to deal with millions of devotees who wish to pay homage to the little King.

I also noticed that the red pavers were freshly cleaned and scrubbed and that more security personnel roamed the church grounds.
