Hidden Paradise

Last Friday, we went to a mountain resort in San Fernando for our yearly company outing.  The name of the resort was Hidden Paradise Mountain Resort. I didn’t get the exact address of the resort, however, because I was asleep on my way there (and on our way back.) But my officemates said that there’s a huge sign along the National Highway so you won’t miss it.

Just a reminder for those who want to go there, though. The resort, according to some rough estimates of my officemates, is more than 10 kilometers from the Highway. And the road is small and quite dangerous (think of the road on the way to Sagada) if you’re not an experienced driver. But hey, our drivers managed to drive two big tourist buses and get us all there. So, yeah. I guess it’s still doable. 😀 And the place really gives justice to it’s name so I think you should check it out. 🙂

Of course you won’t remember how hard it was to get there when you’re actually there. Just look at that!

Beside the first pool is a big pond where, they say, you can go fishing. 😀

Going up a few steps, you can find the second pool. The pool was reserved exclusively for us. Satchmo looking even more excited.

The second pool is perfect for corporate events because it has a big function hall near it.

After the monkey bridge, you can go back to the platform using this rope. All three activities for just 75 pesos. If you have 3 other friends, you will only have to pay 350 for two rounds each.

After the party, Satchmo posed with some friends. Satchmo with Will.

Just a suggestion : maybe if you travel going North -to BOGO , I highly recommend NAILON beach….

  5. Sorry guys. We have visited this place 2 days ago. Dec. 27, 2009. Unfortunately it was not a very nice experience. We were only allowed to go to the 1st pool ( CHILDREN’S POOL )behind the reception coz’ the other 2 pools were occupied by Koreans. Ok fine, they were there first. What’s not so good is that the pool is not safe. My 5 year old son got hurt by the falling cement with RUST in the water from the bridge over the pool. See pictures from degitaleye.wordpress.com Nindot man tan awon pero dli gyud safe. This is good only for those who are with no kids. The CR are no good as well. It is very dirty. Baho gyud kaayo, murag naay amonia. Sayang, We are expecting more kay layo gud, dapat limpyo unta. Cottages walay trapo…..
I will definitely do not recommend this place.

  6. Didn’t like the place too. We were a group of 10 and we stayed at the dormitory. We couldnt use the bathroom because the sink clogged up with water, which came out of nowhere.

Customer service was poor as well. Food we ordered took forever, they didn’t even give us utensils. There was no phone inside the room to follow up on our requests. So we had to g down to the front desk and then back up to our room, again and again.

There were flies everywhere and strays dogs roaming around.

    Disastrous.

  7. Sus !! Abi kog nindot .. Bati man d.i , ana sya naa kunoy volleyball court , ultimong net wa man gani .. Really dissapointed jid !!

  8. But infairness , nindot jud ang pool .. Its just hopeful kaayu mi nga naay volleyball or basketball court .. Then wla d.i ..
