Pardo Church

My friend Mary Ann – my tour guide in Manila together with Masil – bought some stuff for her nieces and nephews. She asked me to take the items to their house in Talisay City. I didn’t have to go to the office today so I drove all the way to Talisay to pay her family a visit. On my way to Talisay City, however, I dropped by the Santo Tomas de Villanueva church in Pardo. This very nice-looking church, I later learned, is more than a hundred years old. Here are some photos of Pardo’s very gorgeous church. Hope you like them.

  1. i noticed on you bai Ley, you are fascinated with church photography. every town/city you visited, there is always couple of snap shots here and there about the church of that area. please don’t put color on my comments, it’s just my own personal observation on you. may not be bad either if you could share us your inner feel if i am right. anyways, they are great shots as usual.

  2. I think it’s because churches, especially the old ones, are the very prominent public structures that are readily known, available and accessible. I too would love to take pictures of old churches in places I go.

  9. maayo unta nga moda-ug kay sigi ra ba ko ug simba diha sa pardo, santo thomas de villanueva, diha ko gikasal 2004.

      1. Not a too good reason. After seeing this sign in only one edifice of this island, you fallaciously concluded and branded the whole Catholic Church to include the Vatican in Rome as a member of this shady group.

Construction of the present-day church was started by Fray Manuel Ybiernas who was parish priest from 1873 to 1893 (from Cebu Heritage blog). I’ve seen via Google a picture of this church taken in the 1960’s which showed only a circular hole instead of an ‘eye’. Can we say then that before 1960 the Catholic Church was not a member?

And if we read the Wikipedia, we can see that other than the Illuminati all-seeing eye, there is also the Christian (no specific reference to just Catholic) all-seeing eye.

        1. i agree with you that we will not coclude directly, we must study first why is it like that? but i have a question, why is that only the catholic church has the logo of the “all seeing eye”? like pardo church, sto. rosario church, sto. nino church? villaba leyte church and many more.yes, its true that there are many christians who are member also to illuminati unknowingly, why? bec they are aware about illuminati but they dont aware about world council of churches (wcc) which the head is the vatican…. wcc is a member of illuminati. pls try to search members of illuminati. God bless

        2. if some chapters of catholic church are members of illuminati, then why did the vatican did not take any action for cutting the evil one? but if they did any actions, but then why is the church until now is active or open for catholics?why did vatican tolerate other churches of catholic if they join to satanic groups?

          1. Sayon ra ang tubag bai, ang Vatican mismo maoy numero unong miembro sa Illuminati. Wala ka kahibalo nga ang Pope maoy tinood nga Anti-Christ? Magpataka lang sila og pasangil kang bisan kinsa pero sila ra diay to…

Research lang pag-ayo bai kai daghan gyud ka mahibaw-an. Peace out!!!

  10. Hi Ley!

Karon pa ko naka balik ug browse, nindot ang mga photos sa Sto Tomas de Villanueva parish in Pardo. Hapit na ang fiesta…
Happy Fiesta to all Parishioners in Pardo.
    Viva Sto Tomas!

  11. Nice pics!

Duda lang ko aning simbahana kai naay “all seeing eye”. Murag miembro pud ni sa Illuminati. Saon nalang.

The “Anti Christ” is in the Vatican!

    1. right..ingun mga tao, di sila gnahan ug illuminati…but i think they don’t have any idea that they’re already bowing down to illuminati…The “all-seeing eye” is the favorite symbol of illuminati…look at the US dollar bill..it’s there also and almost everything in this world kuha na sa illuminati..gi-anad nalang ang mga tao ug pakita ana..
      wake up people!!!

    2. The symbol is called The Eye of Providence (or the all-seeing eye of God) and is a symbol showing an eye often surrounded by rays of light or a glory and usually enclosed by a triangle. It is sometimes interpreted as representing the eye of God watching over humankind (or divine providence).

The illuminati might be using these and they are slowly changing the true meaning of this symbol.

  12. Can anyone please positively confirm if this “eye” symbol indeed exists in “sto. rosario church, sto. nino church? villaba leyte church and many more”?

      1. there are a lot of churches!! not just roman catholic churches,.. look round you,..they are many now, in different symbols, same meaning,… Illuminati., Seek for truth.

  13. me too, kabantay sad ko anang symbol sa illuminati.. just wondering why? karon kai medyo dili nako musulod sa kana nga simbahan after i knew nga mao diay na meaning sa illuminati..

  14. during the funeral of my uncle in villaba leyte i notice the all seeing eye symbol in catholic church. also in sto rosario church the symbol is found at the back of the image of God the Father in the pulpit. in sto nino church the ceiling

  15. if you say that Illuminati counterfeited the logo in which Roman catholic used, why it was tolerated by the council?? isnt it a big issue if used by others most likely used as anti-christ??
