Last Sunday, I went to the North Reclamation Area in Mandaue City, Cebu for the Governor’s Cup 2009. During the event, there were obstacle and oval races. A small fair was also set up to feature different products for horse owners and enthusiasts. I’m not exactly sure when the program started. But I was lucky enough to witness the main events (oval/obstacle races) last Sunday afternoon. Here are the photos that I took.

More spectators!
Then the announcer said: Horseman down! Good thing there was a rescue team.
Checking if the guy was okay.
These spectators wanted to see what happened to the poor guy.
Meanwhile, the race went on and a winner was declared.
