Here is the grand champion of the Sinulog Short Film (Documentary) Festival 2008. Another nice work, I must say! I love anything that has Inday Titang in it. She is, after all, Cebu’s Sinulog lady.

Add: Jerrold Tarog’s career exploded real quick a couple of years later. Now, he’s a well-respected TV and movie director.
I grew up in Mabolo. I remember Inday Titang and her troupe! The “Sinug” video brings back childhood memories.
I so love Colors in Motion! 🙂 Very Nicely done. Not boring.
Has she been given recognition? She deserves one.
Inday Titang truly deserves recogniton- why not ‘Cebu’s Sinu(lo)g Matriarch’?
colors in motion looks like a ripoff of rhythm in unison. hehehe.
Ley, una sa tanan daghan kaayong salamat by featuring Nang Titang as we call her while growing up in Mabolo watching her sinug troupe, gosh it brought back memories when I was very young growing up in Mabolo. Silingan man mi ni Nang Titang sa H. Joaquino St. Mabolo.
I just saw Nang Titang Nov. of last year when my family invited her sinug troupe to perform a short sinug for my dad’s burial in Mactan Is. Mem. Garden. My dad owns a very milagroso nga Nino sa San Diego, after his death Sto. Nino permanently stayed in our house in Lahug.
“Takdol” taga Mabolo pod ka? Hain man karon nagpuyo? Kinsa imong tinu-od nga pangalan?
I grew up and graduated elementary in Mabolo,
im proud being part of Inday Titangs dance troupe with late Nong Titi on tambols and Isyot (myFriend).
Sinug is my unforgetable happy childhood experience.
we travel a lot and performs by invitations.
The “Tinampilan” were my favorite dance steps.
Pit Senyor!
Hi. I was wondering how I can get a copy of this video. It’s very informational and I would like to show it in our Santo Nino Festival diri sa Denver, Colorado. I love this video. I left in 1972 and never experienced “Sinulog”.
