Larsian is the oldest after-party hangout in Cebu. The Larsian, a strip of land where BBQ vendors can be seen, is open twenty-four hours a day. More often than not, people who are too drunk to go home, for fear of getting caught, LOL, drop by the Larsian to freshen up or binge on tinae.
Chorizo, Baboy, Manok
The New Larsian. More tables and chairs. hehe
Choose your barbikyu!
Chicken, Fish, Squid
They sell siomai too!
Ready to eat!!! Wow!
Toothpick your siomai. Haha!
Perfect with puso.
And of course, the Larsian experience is best when you’re with your buddies!!!
So, Larsian is haven to loaded people? Perfect! LOL I truly miss the spicy chorizo!
I missed this place so much. this is where we always eat after playing my band back home way back late 80’s and up to the 90’s. love the food! yum!

Larsian is now relocated beside the once-vacant lot beside Chong Hua. It’s cleaner than before.
The food there is superb! And if you get sick, you don’t have to worry coz you’re just a few meters away from the entrance to Chong Hua’s Emergency Room.
What I don’t like about Larsian are the mendicants who ask you food, sell you flowers, etc….while you are in the middle of a meal.
wala lagi beggars pag adto namo g. hahaha. datu man gud ka. maong dugukon kag beggars. =)

Thanks so much for the time and energy that you’ve invested in this very informative and beautiful website. I’ve been such in a funk due to my hectic life and very demanding job that has finally caught up on me. I was on my wits end trying to find ways to defunk, regroup and get myself back that positive energy that I so crave. I am just so worn down. Then I stumble into your site and came to a realization that I don’t need to look far. Pauli ra man diay sa akong beloved nga Cebu ang tambal.Right away without any hesitation I’ve booked my roundtrip airfare ticket, and can’t wait to pig out at Larsians and unwind and just be a lazy bum for a change in the beautiful beach in Moalboal. Tempted to book just a one way ticket, that would have been ideal, but not doable, at least not yet. Maybe one day I’ll be able to retire in Cebu. Unfortunately, at the moment, that just have to wait. Nevertheless, I’m sure I’ll be as fresh as a morning daisy when I get back after my vacation and be ready again to tackle with gusto whatever comes my way in this crazy city that I live in. Again, salamat kaayo and keep up with the fabulous work! Best regards, Clovia 😉

AAAHHH! LARSIAN…. this place has been an important part of me and my husband’s love story.
I wan as office clerk then, and he was an apprentice with a local shipping line. Every Thursday night, because they will spend their overnight in Cebu, we will ate our dinner at the place. There, we would be talking about the whole week’s event. I always find it romantic (baduuyy!) to be with him eating all those very delicious bbq’s and very spicy sawsawan.
We’ve been married for 11 years already and right now, we’re already residing here in Negros, my hometown. But, every time I will go to Cebu, I make it sure that I can make a stop at Larsian and have my dinner there.
Tingpanihapon na dre, tamad ko magluto.
Magpalit nalang ta ko ani bah.

I’m not from Cebu so when my friends & I went to Larsian, we were distressed by aggressive offers from the stall owners. It was like they were ganging up on us. One of my friends said that we had to choose right away or it was gonna get worse (and louder!). So when we did pick one stall, the noise died down immediately as if on cue.
*The food was great that the scare was all worth it! =) Hope to come back to Cebu soon. Been there twice this year.
What’s with all the plastic? Is that cheaper than banana leaves maybe? All that plastic ending up in the landfill not to mention we don’t know what the Chinese put into the manufacture of plastic. Haha.

you make me miss cebu a lot! 🙂 thanks for your lovely photos. you now make me crave for siomai and chorizo bbq ♥ im not gonna trade a chicago deep dish with these cebuano delicacy!
i agree with you! I crave bisayan food especially barbecue, with puso and dip it in suka nga halang and the famous siomao in Pardo,, and most Atay sa manok, OMG!!! i cant wait to be home Ughhhhh your killing me dude!!! I wish i have them for dinner, sigh 🙂
the best bbq ever! near my cousin’s house and where my Dad’s old office was – it was always sure larsian treat when i visited either place 😉 i will definitely go again on my vacation – even if my uninitiated white hubby might find some items revolting (all the liver and intestine and chicken feet)! i mean, even pictures of lechon scare him! he has absolutely no idea how good crispy lechon skin tastes. For his first time, nothing else but Talisay lechon – no point in disappointing him with whatever we have here in North America 😉
Namao, larsian is the best! Dugay nasad wala ko ka anha dinha. I heard from my sis that it is upgraded na gyud! Maayo hinoon. Basta, larsian = best BBQ place!
